Refund Policy
Last updated: 28 September 2026
1. Overview
This Refund Policy explains when Rackstead Hosting may issue refunds or account credits. It forms part of our commercial terms and should be read with the Terms of Service.
2. General approach
Hosting and domain products are generally non-refundable once provisioned, because capacity and third-party registration costs are incurred immediately. Wallet top-ups are credits for future use and are not cash withdrawals unless required by law.
3. When we may refund
We may issue a refund or credit, at our discretion, when:
- You were charged due to a verified billing error on our side
- A paid order failed to provision and we cannot deliver the service within a reasonable time
- Law requires a cooling-off or similar consumer right in your jurisdiction
4. Domains and third-party products
Domain registrations and renewals are typically non-refundable after the registrar accepts the order. Third-party add-ons follow the supplier’s refund rules where applicable.
5. How to request a review
Open a billing ticket from the control panel within 14 days of the charge, including the invoice number and reason. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method when possible, or as wallet credit.
6. Chargebacks
Filing a chargeback without first contacting support may result in account suspension while we investigate. Contact us first so we can resolve genuine issues quickly.
